About us
The Maxx's Furry Friends Animal Shelter began as a heartfelt rescue initiative led by Ms. Sylvia Ongsing in 1997. Over the years, this simple act of kindness grew into what is now known as Maxx's Furry Friends Animal Shelter, a non-profit organization dedicated to the well-being of animals.
Currently, the shelter is home to 127 dogs and 54 cats, not including those under care or those currently confined for medical treatment.
Our mission is to give hope to animals in need, while our vision is to create a future where all animals are treated with care, compassion, and respect, ensuring their well-being in every aspect of their lives.
